YOSHIKATSU

椅子をもとに新たなタイプフェイスを制作した。椅子の象徴化が文字へと転じ、ジャングルや岩陰に潜む動物のように文字がエレメントの中に潜んでいるかたちになった。草原が広がるのようにテキスタイル的な展開が可能なタイプフェイス。

I created a new typeface based on the chair. The chair’s symbolization was transformed into letters, which, like animals hiding in jungles or among rocks, are embedded within the elements themselves. Furthermore, like a vast grassland spreading outward, this typeface allows for textile-like expansion.
